PhotoSoc Castlefield Trip

These are the pictures from the recent PhotoSoc trip around Castlefield. I tried to capture different elements of the area from those in my previous Castlefield post. Let me know what you think.

    I love the middle one - has a real Bill Brandt feel - we have a great book of his photos that you might like to borrow

    Bill Brandt indeed, although he was working in Halifax rather than Manchester. It's the same dark, gritty type of location, though, and monochrome is perfect for the weather we've been having recently. Much of Manchester is built from a rather garish red brick, which certainly looks better in black and white. :-)
