Bupa 10K
The Bupa 10km took place in Manchester on the 15th of May and I was lucky that the 1km and 9.5km posts were just outside our flat. It did mean we got woken up at 7am by the outdoor broadcast people doing their sound checks, but was a great opportunity to get down and take some photos of the runner, both fresh faced at the start of the race and those flagging towards the end. Points for spotting the famous pack leader in the Men's Elite group...

Some good documentary shots here, and I really like the creative use of movement. True to form, I notice that there are umbrellas up in the first shot, and I'm assuming (given that we're dealing with Manchester) that this wasn't because of the sun... :-)
