Student Protests
I got my first taste of photojournalism yesterday when I went to see the students protest against tuition fees in Manchester yesterday. The protest was very good natured, so nobody kicked in any windows. Just on the off-chance, I'd like to thank the helpful RPS member for giving me guidance on photographing these kind of events, and where photographers stand with the police.

This is an excellent set of pictures, taken under difficult (and probably scary) circumstances. I particularly like the one of the guy with the megaphone being watched by the two onlookers. Monochrome often suits this kind of photojournalism, so it might be worth exploring this angle with the set of pictures you took.
