On Ice - Part 1

We spent the first night at the Ice Hotel in an Ice Room, coming in at a balmy -5C. The Ice Hotel to built new from scratch every autumn, with new designs each time. Here are a taste of some of the room designs. More photos of the Ice bar and our room coming soon....

Scandinavian Amuse Bouche

I've recently got back from our belated honeymoon to Scandinavia and I ask you to bear with me while I work through the some 1300 photos that I took during the week. I'm planning on posting the pictures in groups based on location/activity, but it'll take a few days to get them all done.

A long and busy break

It's been a long and busy time since I last posted. Sharp ones among you will have noticed the name change, due to the fact that I got married in April. This was quickly followed up by starting a new placement at work and then moving house two weeks later. We then acquired kittens and, finally, a PC which means that I'm able to work on photos again after the long, slow decline of my poor laptop.

I've got a huge backlog of photos to go through so hopefully I'll be posting more regularly on here. And to whet your appetites, here is a photo taken this afternoon at Clevedon Pier just before the rain came down.
