Over the Easter bank holiday Christopher and I spent a lovely four days in Whitby. Plenty of photographs still to edit, but this set concentrate on harbour views. More to come soon.

Marrakech - Part 2
While the streets of Marrakech tended to be dusty and quite plain, once we were inside the buildings were full of beautiful mosaics and stone carvings, quite similar to the palaces and mosques we saw in Istanbul. This set of pictures is mainly dedicated to all the beautiful and intricate patterns we saw.

Marrakech - Part 1
More old photos in this post. Christopher and I went to Marrakech in the summer after our first year of university. Sadly, I don't remember much of the trip, being struck down with a combination of heat stroke and severe food poisoning after a couple of days (never trust cheap chicken tagine). On the other hand, it seems that I took loads of photos, so we clearly saw more than I remember. I do recall brushing the dust of GCSE French to do some successful haggling. I loved what I remember of the city, though I wouldn't recommend visiting in June.

More Istanbul
I've remembered where I stored all my old photographs, so here's some more from Istanbul. Soon to come: Marrakech, Interrailing in Europe and New York.

Istanbul
I haven't had much chance to get out and take pictures recently, though I'm off on holiday to Whitby over easter so hopefully there'll be plenty of opportunity then. So at the moment, I'm going over some old pictures taken before I got my DSLR. This set are a few taken in Istanbul in October 2006. I'm still hunting for the rest of the set (since the pictures were taken so long ago, I can't remember where I stored them!) but here are a few.
